Compass Group acquires Sirkus Renaa

With its core in Stavanger, and plans to expand to Oslo, Compass Group is bringing one of the country's most innovative food concepts on board.

Backing the concept is Sven Erik Renaa, one of Norway's most award-winning chefs, with three Michelin stars from 2024. Sven Erik, his wife Torill and the existing team are now joining the journey to develop Circus Renaa together with Compass Group

The acquisition includes five locations in Stavanger and Sandnes, including "Fabrikken", as well as outlets at Sola airport, Sandnes and in Stavanger city center. The concept, known for its uncompromising focus on raw materials, employee development and daily innovation, will now be strengthened through the collaboration.

Brand and muscle

With the acquisition, Compass secures production capacity, strong professional expertise and a clear brand in the premium segment. The investment in Stavanger will strengthen the company's canteens, coffee shops and catering offerings, while the Oslo establishment lays the foundation for further growth
