Have you noticed an Eir Renhold truck or a 4Service pickup truck on the road? Then you've seen a small part of Compass Group Norway's vehicle fleet at work.

With around 500 vehicles in operation across the country, our fleet is crucial to how we deliver our services every day. That's why, over the past six months, we've carried out one of the most comprehensive fleet reviews we've ever done

The goal has been clear: the right car for the right need, and lower emissions.

The review has resulted in renegotiated agreements, opening up to new suppliers and establishing new partnerships, including with Mobile AS, Ford Motor Norge AS and Gumpen Gruppen. Together with Drivalia Lease Norge AS, we have defined a standardized model range that covers everything from passenger cars to customized vehicles.

- Choosing the right car is about much more than new keys and new models. With a conscious shift towards electric vehicles and solutions adapted to actual needs, Compass Group has laid a solid foundation for a more cost-effective, functional and sustainable car fleet for years to come, says Morten Rygh, Business Controller & Fleet Manager.

Over time, Compass Group has had a clear focus on electric vehicles, and in parts of the business there is now zero tolerance for fossil cars. This includes Eir, which was recently awarded the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.

- We want to be forward-looking and contribute where we can. The transition to electric hasn't happened overnight, but it's a direction we've been working purposefully towards for a long time, and which we're continuing to develop further, Rygh adds.

For us, sustainability is about making ambitions concrete. Not just in strategies and goals, but in day-to-day operations, where services are actually delivered.
