Close ties with Aker Solutions Stord

The challenge

Aker Solutions at Stord is Norway's largest offshore shipyard with around 1,700 employees. The yard at Stord is tailor-made for the assembly of large platform decks and modules for onshore facilities, as well as the demolition and recycling of decommissioned oil installations. The yard employs workers from both Norway and abroad who will live at the yard for short and long periods. There was therefore a need for a tailor-made solution of several catering services adapted to this yard and the workers. In normal and full operation, 4Service Camps serves four meals a day to all guests, and has approximately 1,700 rooms in three camps.

4Service Camps has been providing multiple catering services at this shipyard since 2017, and the contract was renewed in 2022.
